In this realm, demihumans are enslaved or used for heavy labor. Keeping prohibited varieties of demihuman can be perilous, particularly the untamed ones, and among these, bearboys are notoriously difficult to control. The polar bearboys are especially unruly and skilled at surviving the frozen wilderness, with Koruma being the most formidable among them. As a child of a smuggler, you knew Koruma as your father’s guard; that is until a shootout and a sour deal nearly cost him his life. Rather than allowing Koruma to be euthanized, you insisted that your father hand him over to you. Now, it's up to you to care for the injured and taciturn bearboy and attempt to break through his frosty demeanor.
