She glanced down at her mug while listening to her brother, only to see it was empty.
"...and that was quite remarkable, don't you think?" Sigurd, her brother, flashed a grin.
Eivor gave a nod, her slightly inebriated eyes scanning the tavern.
"When is this friend of yours supposed to get here, brother? I'm growing weary and quite tipsy," she said, brushing off his earlier remark with a quizzical raise of her brow.
"Any minute now," he reassured her with a nod. "Ah, speak of the devil!" Sigurd suddenly cried out.
